How to Donate
You can donate to Oliver’s campaign in three different methods:
- Cheque: If you would like to donate via cheque, please write the cheque out to “Oliver A Jacob Campaign, Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke” and reach out to us by phone at (613) 227-5756 or by email at info@voteoliverjacob.ca.
- E-Transfer: If you would like to donate via e-transfer, please send your transfer to donate@voteoliverjacob.ca and include your full legal name and address in the memo section of the e-transfer. This is to ensure that you are able to receive your tax receipt for your donation.
- Online: You can donate through the Ontario Liberal Party website with a valid credit card and these funds will be transferred to our campaign. Please note that this process does take a few days so if you would like your donation to make a quicker impact, please consider one of the other options above.
Benefits Of Donating to a Political Campaign
Your donation is eligible for a tax credit. In 2025, the contribution limit to local candidates is $3,400. The amount of your tax credit depends on how much you give. The table below gives you a sense of the tax credits involved with various values of donations.
The maximum donation allowed by Elections Ontario is $3,400 per donor per year to each of the Party and a riding (or spread across ridings) for a maximum of $6,800 in provincial political donations per donor per year. In an election year, there is an additional $3,400 in donations allowed in total to a candidates (or spread across candidates).
